In line with the need to incorporate ICT as an enabler for teaching and learning, the Malaysian National Education Philosophy stipulated that:

Education in Malaysia is an on-going effort towards further developing the potential of individuals in a holistic and integrated manner, so as to produce individuals who are intellectually, spiritually, emotionally and physically balanced and harmonious, based on a firm belief in and devotion to God. As an instructional designer, you are tasked to design a suitable instructional environment to fulfil the objectives of ICT under the Malaysia Education Blueprint 2013 – 2025 and the Malaysian Education Philosophy in the context of teaching and learning conducted in schools or any education institution. Your instructional environment may be related to a particular subject area of your choice, or can be non-specific and focused on developing teaching and learning skills in general, or one domain of this teaching and learning skill.

The design of the instructional environment will assist you in selecting and determining suitable instructional materials to be developed in Assignment 2.

Your design document must include the following criteria:
