As 20% of your final grade, you will write a “Made by History” column. Your paper must be 3-4 pages in length (double-spaced with 1-inch margins) and will use at least 3 pieces of primary historical evidence from the course reader to address a topic of your choosing pulled from recent headlines. Make an argument and support that position with primary evidence, as well as the necessary contextualization drawn from lectures and secondary readings.
