Mentoring Program in the Air Force  Problem: The Air Force has an established Mentoring Program but it has not been implemented by all military bases and does not reach every Airmen.

Root Cause: leadership does not buy into mentoring, results are not immediate, takes away time from mission, affects unit morale and productivity COA: implemented mentoring program at all Air Force bases, appointed mentoring program manager, direct involvement from leadership. End-state: enhanced morale, efficient leaders, increased productivity, greater retention.
