This assignment consists of an 8-10 page paper in which you will construct a personal constellation model. In this paper you are going to integrate all of Clinton’s Mentoring theory and apply it to your life situation. This paper is actually an exercise in focused reflection by creating your own personal and also leadership development needs. Also, identifying how mentors you select will play an essential part in helping to bring them into reality. Steps towards successfully completing this assignment: Doing the three exercises in your Mentoring Leaders student notes (pp. 4, 6 & 7) will aid you in fleshing out the key elements that will make up your paper. Using the 9 categories of mentoring according to Clinton’s continuum:

Firstly, identify the ones that are currently being leveraged in your life and what they are specifically providing you. Secondly, identify a specific point of growth for the next 3-6 months in both life and ministry development needs. Thirdly, identify the 2-3 mentoring types you believe will be most helpful for each of these areas. Additionally, what specific benefit you will be seeking. Using these mentor types, plot them on your Mentoring Constellation to see in what relational context these points of empowerment will take place. Finally, identify the first three steps of an action plan that would move this forward for you:

a) potential mentors, b) plans for connecting with them, and c) the mentoring needs they would specifically address.
