Also, as an educational assistant, you will work under many teachers who prefer organizing their classes under any one of the many philosophies (yes there are more than what was given above). Which would you prefer to work under? Give concrete examples of why a specific philosophy sits with your values and traditions. Pretend that you are working with a teacher preferring a different philosophy and meld the two.

This response should be about 200 words in length.

I’d like it to be on: In the existentialist classroom, subject matter takes second place to helping the child to understand and appreciate him or herself as a unique individual able to accept complete responsibility for their own thoughts, feelings, and also actions.

Additionally, the teacher’s role is to help student define their own essence by teaching them about the different paths they may take in life and create an environment in which the student may freely choose his or her own preferred way.
