Small Group Proposal Intervention

Description As a school counselor you will manage large numbers of students in crisis. Consider how you would manage a school wide crisis intervention. This means having to run multiple small groups. The groups run one after another. What would a one-time small group look like the day of the crisis? The Assignment: (4–5 pages): *Develop a small evidence-based group proposal for a one-time crisis group session. *What educational pieces would you include? *What information is important to cover in the group? *What brief activity might you utilize in such a group? *Describe the grade levels this group will target, and explain the potential cultural and ethical barriers that may exist. *Cite at least two research articles that document the effectiveness of the proposed small group intervention.
