Where do you plan to practice nursing?
1. My establishments which are Home Health Care, future Assisted Living/ Acute Hospital BR setting.

What is nursing?
1. Nursing is the profession that provides skillful care to the ill.

Why does nursing exist?
1. Nursing exist to be the median between the patient and the physician to provide compassion and overall wellness in a holistic way to patients.

Why do you plan to practice nursing?
1. To be the example of HHA nursing, to be able to educate nursing personnel through experience and in depth knowledge base.

What are your assumptions or underlying beliefs about
A. Nurses: There are some good nurses but most are in nursing for the money and prestige of the profession and has been less obtained for patient care and positive patient outcomes.
B. Patients: They deserve serous professionals and are able to learn and adapt to new onsets through skillful nursing practices.
C. Other healthcare providers: Very essential in patient care but can negatively impact patient care with lack of care coordination.
D. Communities: The community plays a vital role in health care. More community education and engagement is needed as in previous decades.

1. Patients: The individual being cared for. A living organism able to learn and adapt to care provided in a effective way.
2. Health: Overall well being. The ability or degree in which one is able to adapt and adjust.
3. Environment: The external factors that shape well being and the psychosocial format measured to gauge the ability or degree in which one is able to adapt and adjust.
4. Nursing: The skill and art of health care that provides education and treatment to meet the patients current and ongoing needs.

1. Change and Wisdom: The ability to change the nursing profession back to the Nightingale principles on patient care by leading with experience and skill. The wisdom and insight gained through obtaining my nursing degree will attribute to my understanding of nursing staff.
