You will be keeping a professional quality field notebook that will have all of your observations, reflections and field work for all the projects for the whole semester and it will earn you 25% of your grade. At each location you should have the notes for each of the projects (My Plants, My Maps, My Methods) as well as the maps and other artifacts from these projects. Daily field notes and data taken in the Grinnell method. Every day in the field you should begin with the date, time, weather, location and general notes about what you are going to do that day. Then you will have your raw observations as you take them in the field. These should be annotated the same day when you are done with your field work. These are kept in the Grinnell style of notebook entry.
