Mostly about microscopy

Description Hello, there should be an Abstract (less than one page), introduction, material and methods (2 pages max), results (only figures and tables in it with captions, no exp data), discussion (3 pages max, should have significance and meaning of the results), conclusion, and reference. 4-5 pages WITHOUT THE TABLES AND FIGURES. i uploaded a file named “lab book” it has the manual for this lab, this lab was done in 4 days. also, i uploaded a document named protocol, it has the protocol for the experiment, it will help.

In the document named “2019_BIOL_2070….”, it has the rubric of marking scheme, it has what we should talk about (please be careful that this rubric doesn’t say that we should include abstract, but we actually should because this is what the teacher said), also, discussion should be separate from the conclusion. for the introduction, you have to say what is the drug? what does the drug do on Neurospora crassa. and the questions that are asked in the manual which you can see in the document also. this paragraph right here is a an example of the purpose of the experiment, DONT WRITE THE SAME PLEASE: (The purpose of the experiment is to observe hyphal tip growth and nuclear position of Neurospora crassa in the presence of 50 nM of the drug dissolved in growth medium (treatment), or hyphal tip growth of the specimen in the presence of growth medium alone (control). The focus of the experiment is to understand the basics of hyphal tip growth and to look for methods to inhibit the growth. The experiment was designed to answer three main questions, what is the velocity of the growing fungal tips? is the distance between tips and nuclei constant? Is the nuclear position random? Is the growth rate similar in all hyphae?) for material and method, you should talk about the material along with the method, DO NOT LIST THEM PLEASE, WRITE AN ACTUAL PARAGRAPH. In this link right here, there is a presentation that we made, it actually has the tables and graphs you can use them, but change a bit from the captions. in this presentation, you can look at the speaker notes, there is a lot of useful info, also, we have to include our hypothesis in the lab report, which i also have it in the presentation. you also have to do the T-test, we should get it below 0.5, because we have to reject the null hypothesis, and accept the alternative hypothesis. also, we have to talk about nuclear position which i also have the presentation. https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/1QnzUAf5JC6gNj7gaDwoz9CMiG1IpEsLyZ-AaVzw6FzA/edit?usp=sharing please if you cant see the presentation let me know ASAP, it has allllllllllllllllll my data from the la
