What were the reasons for the growth and decline from year to year? What kind of changes , if any, have there been in the kinds of founding firms VC invest in? Give your explanation for the differences in the newer VC funds vs the older funds in terms of: the kinds of new ventures they seek out; who are the newer players; and is the U.S. still the world leader? Mention why large successful businesses like Intel, Amazon, Apple, and Microsoft would invest in VC funds.
