T‌‌‍‌‌‍‍‍‌‍‍‌‍‍‍‌‌‌‍he final assignment for this course is an in-depth research and case formulation paper that builds from the case conceptualization paper. Students will use the same case vignette as they did for their midterm. This paper must be between 10 and 15 pages in length, and include the following:

• Title page and abstract (not included in the 15 pages)
• Introductory paragraph – 3 or 4 sentences describing what the paper is/what you will cover. You may use one sentence with the word “I” in it to describe what this paper shall cover (e.g., In this paper, I shall discuss…).
• Review of Literature – A review of the literature pertinent to the understanding (prevalence, development and course of, developmental influencers, cultural/ gender factors, etc.) and treatment of the client’s presenting concerns/diagnoses

This section must include outcomes from studies that examined the effectiveness of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy in treating the client’s specific presenting concerns

Methodology – Lastly, provide rationale for and a description of the intervention(s) The expectation is that you will be able to justify the interventions and treatment approach using recent (within 10 years) research. Peer-reviewed scholarly journal articles.
