Beverage report on Truly Tasty
Group Assignment – Students in pairs of 2, will do at least 2 site visits, with full research of beverages offered at the visited site. Your site visits can include visits to a local brewery, a local distillery, a local tea/coffee provider (NO TIM’s, NO Starbucks, NO McDonalds), a pub or drinking establishment (Vinnie’s PUB, MSVU is not eligible for this assignment), a dairy or almost any other drinks provider or producer. Make sure your 2 establishment visits are not in the same operating space in our local market. Your job on these site visits is to examine the beverage service in the establishment, try to consider how beverages are used as a profit driver in the establishment and examine and estimate how YOU would make money if it was your operation. Try to consider the bigger picture – have a game of “lets pretend” = ie: Let’s pretend this is your business, or “lets pretend” that you are considering operating a similar establishment in a different city or province in Canada. YOU HAVE CONTROL OF THIS ASSIGNMENT – USE YOUR IMAGINATION ABOUT WHAT YOU SUBMIT! The first place I’m going to write about is a Japanese ramen restaurant named Truly Tasty, you can search it in google maps. ( 6214 Quinpool Rd, Halifax, NS, Canada, Post code: B3L1A3), I have working in here as a waiter since Sep.
