What are the key concepts of Adlerian Theory?

The main concepts of Adler’s theory are social interest, holism, lifestyle, goals or directionality and equality. Adler emphasized the importance of childhood inferiority feelings and stressed psychosocial rather than psychosexual development. According to Adler, all people develop a feeling of inferiority.
What does adlerian therapy treat?
Because Adlerian therapy focuses on the goal-oriented nature of humans and the belief that humans are born feeling inferior, it can be useful in treating personality disorders which are linked to feelings of inferiority, such as social anxiety.
What is the main goal of person centered therapy?
In personcentered therapy, the focus is on the person, not the problem. Additionally, the goal is for the client to achieve greater independence. This will allow the client to better cope with any current and future problems they may face.
