The final course project is your opportunity to synthesize and demonstrate the understandings you have gained. The final project can be completed in a number of ways, below are some suggestions for you to consider:
a) Tell the story of teaching and learning in your context. Where did it come from, and how did it evolve? What will it look like in the next 10 or 20 years of your career? You may use any narrative form you wish: academic paper, semi-fictional narrative, series of journal entries or blog posts, podcasts, videos etc. Situate your story in the context of your past and present professional and personal experiences, as well as the ideas, readings, and resources explored in this course.
b) Explore the relevance of one of the big ideas in this course, connecting to your context. You may wish to consider PBL, 21st century skills, schools of the future, knowledge building etc. Write a paper (or equivalent in alternative media), answering the following questions: Why is it relevant? How may its local relevance differ from that elsewhere? What specific issues might it address? What are its limitations? c) Reflect on how your current teaching and learning context addresses the demands of the 21st century. What needs to change? Consider the personal and professional, local and systemic contexts, as appropriate.
