Rhetorical analysis

The purpose of the rhetorical analysis essay is to discuss how a works or doesn’t work. We look closely at the appeals and devices a text uses to explain how it achieves its goals.. The discussion is made by looking into the goals an author is trying to present in the text, the tools he or she uses to present the goals and the effectiveness of the tools used. In order to write a rhetorical analysis you have to decide what the meaning of a text is, who it is intended for (what audience) and what response it is trying to get from its audience.
