It is essential when working as a Health Professional that you have a clear understanding of the legislative frameworks that are relevant to your workplace and industry. The National Disability  Insurance Scheme and the Aged Care Quality Standards are two frameworks that you are likely to work within during your professional life. This assessment task enables you to develop an understanding of one of the frameworks and to explore how the framework applies in practice.
Task
Students are required to write a report on one of these two main frameworks that are central to working within Aged Care and Disability Services. You can choose to write your report on either the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) or the NEW Aged Care Quality Standards. The word limit is 1500 words. The report must include the following:
Introduction (approx. 200 words): this section (one paragraph) provides a context for the assignment by introducing the topic, presenting the reasons for selecting the framework to be discussed, stating the purpose of the assignment and providing a structure for the assignment.
Body (approx. 1100 words):

this section should cover the following:
Explanation of what the framework is and what it involves.
Who the framework affects?
What are the desired outcomes of the framework for clients, staff and other stakeholders?
How the framework is monitored?
Where does therapeutic recreation fit within the framework

Conclusion (approx. 200 words):
