For this Discussion Board, you will think about emerging trends related to youth development and also nature and share a vision for the future using the Week #7 readings (provided below). That’s right…you get to be a futurist!!!!
·        Firstly, review the readings (provided below) by Louv (2012); Christiana et al. (2017); Chevalier at la. (2012); Larson et al. (2018); Browning et al. (2019), and D’Amore (2015).  Consequently, please do not use the Family Nature Toolkit reading by the Children and Nature Network for this DB. It’s more of a resource than a reading.)
·        Secondly, make a prediction for what will be occurring within the study of youth development and nature based on your perspective on the readings. Additionally, you can use other readings (if you choose) to support your prediction. However, your prediction needs to be solidly grounded in one or more of this week’s readings.

·        Thirdly, be sure to provide a detailed explanation of your prediction including how it relates to points in the readings.  For example, how (if at all) does your prediction reflect emerging trends in YD programming, public policy, and research. Additionally, include funding, demographic trends, societal trends, technology trends, participation trends, and so on?
