Dropping out of school has serious consequences for students, their families. Students who decided to drop out of school face social stigma, fewer job opportunities, lower salaries, and higher probability of involvement with the criminal justice system.
Researcher also find that students drop their school due to poor health caused by poor diet and starvation, distance between their institute and house or from their town, lack of awareness and lack of teaching staff are common causes of dropouts.
Predictably, then, not earning a diploma has significant financial consequences. The U.S. Census Bureau says those who fail to finish high school earn approximately $10,000 less annually than high school graduates and over $36,000 less than someone who’s earned a bachelor’s degree.
The consequences of dropping out of high school are that you will be more likely to become a prison inmate or the victim of a crime. You will also have a higher chance of becoming homeless, unemployed, and/or unhealthy. Simply put, a lot of bad stuff potentially happens if you drop out.

There are some causes for girls’ dropout because of absenteeism. For instance, teenage pregnancy among girl is commonly associated with frequent absence from school initially, then permanent and or temporary dropout. Girls also can more drop out because of absenteeism due to child labour or household work.
