The Normal Distribution

Many variables in medicine follow a normal distribution where there are approximately an equal number of values below the mean as above the mean. Describe two variables that you work with that would probably follow a normal distribution. Also note which of the two variables would be likely to have a larger standard deviation and why. Antitrust Law and the Modernization of American Economic Policy as it Conflicts with the Individual’s Right to Privacy

The paper is basically finished. I need at least another 1000 words for the paper as well as a bibliography/source page and table of contents. In text citations are fine as well. I have some notes on the assignment file as well that will aid in the process. Attached is my rough draft as well. Thank you.

Design a Parent Conference Plan

 Design a Parent Conference Plan

Paper details:

Instructions: For this assignment, you have read Chapters 6-9 in your textbook and reflected on methods for effective communication with parents, strategies for working with parents, effective parent-school programs, and home-based education, homeschooling, and homework. Now reflect on what you have learned about parents and communication. Using the content of your reading, create a parent conference plan. You are the elementary supervisor for your district. Parent conferences are in two weeks and new teachers have come to you for help. Design a conference guide that they can follow during parent conferences. • Be sure to address common scenarios and difficulties that can be part of such conferences. • Include plans for conferencing with the parent of a mainstreamed special needs child as well as the parents of an English language learner. • Develop activities that parents can use with their children at home. • Include an Appendix to your plan that contains: o A letter/note/flyer of invitation for the conference. o A home activity calendar for one month focusing on a particular grade level. Activities should reflect different developmental areas. • Include a reference page (5 resources minimum). Length: 5-7 pages Your paper should demonstrate thoughtful consideration of the ideas and concepts presented in the course by providing new thoughts and insights relating directly to this topic. Your response should reflect scholarly writing and current APA standards. Reading material for this week: Berger, E. H. (2011). How has amazon.com effected large U.S. brick and mortar retailers’ revenue since 2015

How has amazon.com effected large U.S. brick and mortar retailers’ revenue since 2015?
Software: STATA

Paper details:

I have attached what I have done for the paper so far. You will be redoing the paper starting from the Methodology section. So everything before Methodology is kept but you will need to start from the Methodology section and write the paper (including methodology section itself). So here are the instructions for the paper beginning from the Methods section: 3. Data and Methods: you can split this section up, presenting data before methods or methods before data; in most of my papers, which involve variations on linear regressions, I present the basic estimation model, talk about the data, and then discuss any special estimation techniques that I use (e.g., “Since the dependent variable is bound between zero and one, I estimate Eq. 1 using a fixed-effects LOGIT model…”). 4.Results: This is where you interpret the findings.Be sure to interpret the coefficients carefully, discussing both the economic and the statistical significance. Please do notinterpret the r-squared of the regression: it is largely a meaningless statistic, unless you aredoing a forecast. 5.Extensions (if applicable): these are regressions run on different sub-samples, using different estimation methods, or whatever. You can roll this section into your results section. 6.Conclusion: Concisely restate your findings. If you can come to some sort of higher conclusion, state that here. You may use the data that I had currently found in the methodology section, however there are only 4 observations which is not enough. You need to find more observations for this paper. Please also include control variables to avoid omitted variable bias and describe them. After you present summary statistics in a table, you need to describe it. If you can, also include data on employment to better help the study and regression. You need to write down your empirical specification, detailing whether you will use monthly/annual data. Yit = B0 + B1Xit+…+Xit. For the citations please include URL links in the references section that will take me to the source and make sure it is accurate. For in text citation do NOT use footnote. Use this method for Chicago style: for example: According to John (2018), he believes that… You may use a different regression method than multivariate, whatever you think is best to see the impact of amazon on other large brick and mortar retailers. How large these retailers are is measured by their revenue in the U.S. Let me know if you have any questions! Format is double-spaced, maximum 12-point font, default margins. For STATA, please include your data set in your submission of STATA and a do file (do file is all the code that was used in text file in order).
