For the research paper, you will be writing an 8-10 page paper in MLA format that uses at least 6 scholarly sources. You get to choose your topic for this paper. Your paper should be a problem/solution paper. You should identify a problem in our society, discuss that problem in depth (causes, effects, who it affects, etc…). Then, you should discuss a possible solution for that problem. This should be your own solution that you come up with. It should be a realistic solution, and it should be a specific solution, not something vague like, “We all just need to be nicer to each other.”
Your reserach should help support the claims that you are making for your essay.
More details;
Some social issues..
Homosexuality
How to fix the social issue?
Accept people for who they are.. America and other countries are still working on that
Abortions
How to fix the social issue?
Let people decide what they want to do.. Pro life or Pro choice. As long as it’s what’s best, it’s the right decision.
LGBT+ Adoption Rights
How do we solve this?
I heard (not sure of this) that stats show that LGBT couples are more capable of raising a child. They can’t exactly have children. There are a lot of children who need adoption and there are heterosexuals that won’t adopt them. Give the children families.. <3
Euthaniasa
How do we solve this?
I believe that people should be allowed to end their lives and suffering by assisted suicide because, it’s like if you had a child, who had a disease, that has no cure and the child is severely suffering, and the child wants to end the suffering. But you say no. A long, painful death, your child has. Assisted suicide..
Honestly I think the true way to solve this is for everyone in the world to take a walk in someone else’s shoes and realize that they don’t know the entire story or whatever.
