Read one of these biographies or autobiographies about a Southwestern Native American (YOU CHOOSE ONE OF THE 5 OF THEM and THAN CHOSE THE BOOK) Report Criteria: This report should be between 2200 and 2700 words long. It should include the following components: (a) A summary of what the book was about. (b) How you feel the book reflected the cultural lifeways of the tribe (A customary manner of living; a way of life. The traditional lifeways of a tribal society). (c) In what ways the book did not reflect the typical tribal experience or lifeway (d) How the lifeway described in the book differed from that of our modern 20th century lifestyle. (e) What you learned or took away from reading the book. You may use any reasonable, professional format for formatting the paper- the Chicago Style Guide is a good one if you do not have a preference. However, you must use a consistent format; a “hodge podge” paper (i.e., some references included as footnotes, others at the end; etc) will be marked down. So, chose and follow only ONE FORMAT. Papers will be graded on both content and grammar/organization/clarity of thought and writing.
