Protection of human subjects from Psychological harm
The protection of human subjects is a primary concern regarding ethics in research. Institutional Review Boards (IRBs) are committees that are convening to ensure the protection of human subjects from physical or psychological harm. IRB members task with formal protocol reviews in which they assess the ethics of potential research studies and their methods to maximize the safety of participants and to promote fully informative and voluntary participation. Historically, IRB procedures for protocol reviews were developing in response to abuses in research studies such as the Tuskegee Syphilis Study or the infamous Doctors Trial. These abuses resulted in the National Research Act of 1974 and the Belmont Report. Additionally, it outline the primary ethical principles for human subjects research, which IRB members are mandated to evaluate.

In your discussion also outline how you would redesign Zimbardo’s study to align with IRB standards
Lastly, ensure that the paper is at least three pages exclusive of the cover and the reference pages. Also, ensure that you include all the references you use in finding research for this assignment paper. References should be at least three for the paper. All references, citation, and writing should follow the APA formatting and styling guidelines. Finally, ensure you focus on the assignment topic in detail.
