Network and Infrastructure Management

Network and Infrastructure Management

Google’s Network and Infrastructure. Network and Infrastructure. This section is about describing the application behavior as it interacts with the TCP/IP stack. The section describes what happens from the time the application gets started to the execution of a specific operation(s) (defined in the introduction). This should be a step by step description. Also, identify all the infrastructure components (e.g. routers, switches, load balancers, name servers etc) and their functions as the application gets started and traffic flows from browser to backend servers. List the infrastructure component or infrastructure service and describe its function for that specific application. Hint: Use traceroute to approximate how many routers and ISPs you may be crossing. Deliver a diagram or leverage the diagram from introduction in your step by step description. (Hint: see textbook section 6.7) (20 points)
