Difference between Role Confusion Moratorium and Identity Achievement

Read about Marcia’s theory of Identity Formation (Ch. 16, pg. 404) in your text and answer the following questions in a 4 page, double-spaced, essay-style paper.  Each question is worth 10 points.  You do not need to use MLA or APA Style.

According to Marcia, what is the difference between Role Confusion, Moratorium and Identity Achievement?
How is Foreclosure different?
What are the ‘Four Arenas of Identity Formation’?

For each of the 4 arenas, think about where you fall on each: are you in Role Confusion, Moratorium, Identity Achievement or Foreclosure?  Do you feel like your identity is achieved on any of them?  Which one(s)?
Which of the 4 arenas are you still working on? What makes these arenas more difficult?
Do you feel like you’ve fallen into Foreclosure on any of the arenas?  Which people, or person, was most influential here?   Parents?   A romantic partner?  Someone else?
Do you feel like there is an arena that Marcia did not explore, that is an important aspect of your identity? What is it?

Difference between Role Confusion Moratorium and Identity Achievement

Who, if anyone, has helped you figure out your identity the most? Parents?  Teachers?  Peers?  Others?
The remaining 20 points come from the quality of your writing (proper sentence composition, etc.) so please proofread carefully or get help at the Learning Commons(Links to an external site.)

Pact of Locarno

Pact of Locarno, (Dec. 1, 1925), series of agreements whereby GermanyFranceBelgium, Great Britain, and Italy mutually guaranteed peace in western Europe. The treaties were initialed at Locarno, Switz., on October 16 and signed in London on December 1.

The agreements consisted of

Firstly, a treaty of mutual guarantee between Germany, Belgium, France, Great Britain, and Italy;

Secondly, arbitration treaties between Germany and Belgium and between Germany and France;

Thirdly, a note from the former Allies to Germany explaining the use of sanctions against a covenant-breaking state as outlined in article 16 of the League of Nations Covenant;

Fourthly, arbitration treaties between Germany and Czechoslovakia and between Germany and Poland; and

Finally, treaties of guarantee between France and Poland and between France and Czechoslovakia.

The treaty of mutual guarantee provided that the German-Belgian and Franco-German frontiers as fixed by the Treaty of Versailles were inviolable; that Germany, Belgium, and France would never attack each other except in “legitimate defense” or in consequence of a League of Nations obligation; that they would settle their disputes by pacific means; and that in case of an alleged breach of these undertakings, the signatories would come to the defense of the party adjudged by the League to be the party attacked and also in case of a “flagrant violation.” The treaties of guarantee between France and Poland or Czechoslovakia provided for mutual support against unprovoked attack. A further consequence of the pact was the evacuation of Allied troops from the Rhineland in 1930, five years ahead of schedule.

To what extent has government corruption in Nigeria impeded efforts to effectively deal with Boko Haram?

To what extent has government corruption in Nigeria impeded efforts to effectively deal with Boko Haram

To what extent has government corruption in Nigeria impeded efforts to effectively deal with Boko Haram?

More details;

In 2019, the conflict in northeastern Nigeria entered its eleventh year. Since 2009, the Boko Haram insurgency and the government’s military response have killed tens of thousands of civilians and displaced millions across the Lake Chad region, which straddles Cameroon, Chad, Niger, and Nigeria. Although major military campaigns in 2015–2016 succeeded in degrading the group’s territorial control, Boko Haram has proven remarkably adaptable in its tactics: the end of 2018 once again saw an uptick in attacks in Nigeria’s Borno State. As Muhammadu Buhari assumes his second term as president, the conflict in the northeast appears far from resolved.

Since the early years of the crisis, Nigeria’s international partners have cautioned that Boko Haram is unlikely to be defeated on the battlefield alone. They have stressed the need for a multidimensional response that tackles the drivers of insecurity in the region, including chronic weaknesses in service delivery, corrupt governance, and environmental degradation.

However, the perception of limited leverage over Nigerian counterparts, restricted access to the country’s northeast, and a response to the crisis shaped by the U.S.-led Global War on Terror limited donors’ focus on these governance dimensions on the ground. In practice, international assistance came late and donors struggled to identify viable national counterparts for stabilization programs. As a result, their efforts centered on supporting regional military efforts and responding to the large-scale humanitarian crisis.

Since early 2017, military gains and improved security in parts of northeastern Nigeria have spurred a greater focus on conflict stabilization measures.

Choose two mammals from different species to compare.

Please stay away from humans and primates, as we have already discussed these in detail.

Firstly, summarize differences that you see in the organization of the brains.

Secondly, note how the differences in brain organization relate to what you know about the behavior of this species. Additionally, is there evidence of increased complexity related to intelligence in this case?

ORGANIC COMPOUNDS ESSENTIAL TO HUMAN FUNCTIONING

Learning Objectives

By the end of this section, you will be able to:

Firstly, identify four types of organic molecules essential to human functioning

Secondly, explain the chemistry behind carbon’s affinity for covalently bonding in organic compounds

Thirdly, provide examples of three types of carbohydrates, and identify the primary functions of carbohydrates in the body

Fourthly, discuss four types of lipids important in human functioning

Further, describe the structure of proteins, and discuss their importance to human functioning

Additionally, identify the building blocks of nucleic acids, and the roles of DNA, RNA, and ATP in human functioning

Organic compounds typically consist of groups of carbon atoms covalently bonded to hydrogen, usually oxygen, and often other elements as well. Created by living things, they are found throughout the world, in soils and seas, commercial products, and every cell of the human body. The four types most important to human structure and function are carbohydrates, lipids, proteins, and nucleotides. Before exploring these compounds, you need to first understand the chemistry of carbon.

THE CHEMISTRY OF CARBON

What makes organic compounds ubiquitous is the chemistry of their carbon core. Recall that carbon atoms have four electrons in their valence shell, and that the octet rule dictates that atoms tend to react in such a way as to complete their valence shell with eight electrons. Carbon atoms do not complete their valence shells by donating or accepting four electrons. Instead, they readily share electrons via covalent bonds. Commonly, carbon atoms share with other carbon atoms, often forming a long carbon chain referred to as a carbon skeleton.
